National Language Services Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern the use of interpretation and translation services provided by National Language Services. By requesting or using services from National Language Services, clients, organizations, and partners agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Professional Language Services
National Language Services provides professional interpretation and translation services supporting healthcare providers, legal professionals, government agencies, school districts, businesses, and community organizations across the United States and internationally.
Our services may include assignments supporting federal agencies, state programs, local governments, hospitals, courts, educational institutions, military operations, and international projects including CONUS (Continental United States) and OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) assignments.
Services may include:
- On-Site Interpretation
- Video Remote Interpretation
- Phone Interpretation
- Document Translation
Scheduling and Appointments
Clients requesting services must provide accurate information when scheduling interpretation or translation services, including appointment time, location, language requirements, and service type.
National Language Services works to coordinate qualified interpreters for each assignment. While every effort is made to ensure interpreter availability, assignments are subject to interpreter scheduling and operational availability.
Interpreters are expected to arrive on time, maintain professionalism, and perform their duties with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
Client Responsibilities
Clients and organizations requesting services agree to:
- Provide accurate appointment information
- Notify National Language Services of any schedule changes
- Maintain respectful communication with interpreters and staff
- Honor service agreements and payment obligations
Failure to provide accurate information may affect interpreter scheduling and service delivery.
Payment Terms
Clients are responsible for payment of services provided by National Language Services according to agreed service rates and invoicing terms.
Invoices must be paid within the agreed payment period. Late payments may result in service suspension or additional administrative fees.
Organizations requesting ongoing services may be required to establish service agreements or billing arrangements prior to scheduling assignments.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Clients should notify National Language Services as soon as possible if an appointment must be canceled or rescheduled.
Late cancellations may result in minimum service charges or interpreter compensation fees depending on scheduling circumstances.
Confidentiality and Professional Conduct
National Language Services and its interpreters maintain strict confidentiality standards for all assignments.
This is particularly important for services involving:
- healthcare communication
- legal proceedings
- government operations
- educational services
- military or international projects
Interpreters and language professionals are required to follow professional ethics and confidentiality guidelines when working with client information.
Limitation of Liability
National Language Services works to ensure accurate and professional interpretation and translation services. However, the company cannot guarantee outcomes resulting from communication between parties.
National Language Services shall not be held liable for indirect damages, misunderstandings, or decisions made by clients or third parties based on interpreted or translated communication.
Service Availability
Services may be provided across the United States and internationally depending on interpreter availability and operational requirements.
National Language Services reserves the right to accept or decline assignments based on scheduling capacity, location, security requirements, or other operational considerations.
Agreement to Terms
By requesting, scheduling, or using services from National Language Services, clients and organizations acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service.
